Motion Reference - Cat

Gooooood morning, deviantart. You join me at 9am, and I haven't slept since yesterday morning. (Admittedly I had a lie in yesterday, so it could be worse.) This is what's been eating this particular fortnight of my life: motion studies. We find footage of our chosen animal and match it as closely as possible with a simple rigged (not skinned) 3D mesh. The emphasis is on the motion, not the look. It was quite fun, when it wasn't being a complete d***.

My favourite's the last one. x3 Mostly because the middle one was a w****r to do, and the first one came out a bit spazzy. Ignore the mesh intersection when the cat comes down onto the beam, I know about it and it was too late. >3>
