Spit and Sing

More old art! This is a fairly inconsequential thing I did inspired by Pljuni i Zapjevaj Moje Jugoslavijo (Spit and Sing, My Yugoslavia) by Bijelo Dugme. It's basically some of the countries of the former Yugoslavia mushed together based on animals on their flags: Serbia's white eagle, Montenegro's golden eagle, Croatia's red-hoofed goat and also its national animal, the marten (or at least a marten before I realised what a marten's paws look like). So it's verrrry imperfect, because it also misses out Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Macedonia and Kosovo. Bit daft. I think drawing fun gryphon got in the way of political allegory accuracy. xD I'm still fond of my ridiculous little idea though, mostly for the linework. c:
